After tearing his meniscus during the beginning of OTA’s, Jalen Ramsey is expected to be 100 percent for training camp. This comes as great news, since many were worried that he would miss valuable snaps during the offseason.
The first reaction to news of Ramsey’s tear was a mix between shock and disbelief. It was very similar to last year when the Jaguars’ first round pick, Dante Fowler, went down with a torn ACL an hour into OTA’s. Fortunately, Ramsey is only expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
Head coach Gus Bradley said that Ramsey will be ready for training camp, and it is widely considered that Ramsey will be starting at corner, opposite Davon House or Prince Amukamura when the season starts.
